Turning Point Scotland
Turning Point Scotland is a social care charity based in Glasgow with forty services throughout Scotland from Fraserburgh to Galashiels, Ayr to Dundee.
We support some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people in society whose lives have been affected by their learning disability, mental health, homelessness or addiction issue. We also support people with Young Onset Dementia; Huntington's and acquired brain injury.
We work towards social inclusion by breaking down the barriers that face our service users as they go about their lives. We promote a person centred approach to their care or recovery which places the individual at the centre of their own personalised care package over which they, or their advocate, have total control.
Our addiction services are non judgemental and are geared towards supporting a person from crisis through to recovery, training and employment.
The Make it Happen Fund - making dreams come true
We are keen to ensure that any donation made by you can have a positive and meaningful effect on the lives of the people we support. We set up the Make it Happen Fund three years ago to enable peoples' dreams to come true. Our service users have had no opportunity in their lives to pursue their dreams and we wanted to be able to give them this chance.
All money donated through Give It will go to help make their dreams come true.
Charity Registration No. SCO28827.
